                                         Spirit Hill Winnie

Winnie is precious and what a sweetheart!  She will run to you across the field.   I was shocked to find her in the pasture two weeks early!  She is our first baby this year so we have spoiled her rotten.  She measured 21" at one day old (born April 23, 2008).  Based on her build and her legs she should remain small.  Right now conformation looks good with straight legs and tooth on tooth.  She will have an awesome set of papers with lots of original imports on the dam's side.  There are lots of colors on both sides too!  Sire is a 31 1/2" spot (MDHR Carrousel Ivers)  and her dam is a 34" dark brown (Liar's Lake Pueblo).   They can both be seen on our herd page.  A 25% deposit will hold her until weaning the end of August.

We have decided to sell Jet.   He is a one-year-old ( May 13, 2007) black with a faint cross on his topline but even after clipping his side we  can't see the the rest of it!  He is 28 inches at one year so should remain very small.  His sire (Windy Ass Acres Hesmy Buddy) is a 30" black and white that you can see above and his dam (Dogwood Hill's Queenie) is a dark gray 31".    His back legs are straight  with a nice hip and he is tooth on tooth.  If you are looking for a future herd sire Jet just might be what you are looking for. 

                                    Spirit Hill Opie

Opie is a sweetheart.  He was 20 1/2" at 2 days old (born May 16, 2008).  Everything about him is small but he's built like a little tank.  He has a really nice hip and straight legs.  Just check out that backend above!  All four legs are gray from above the knees down and but the rest of his color appears to be more light brown.   Everything about him is nice.  He should make someone a wonderful future herd sire.   His sire is a 31 1/2" spot (MDHR Carrousel Ivers and he can be seen on our herd page) and his dam a 33" dark brown (Spirit Hill Maggie).   A 25% deposit will hold him until weaning in September.

                                                                       Spirit Hill Mayberry

Mayberry has a lot of red to her coat and ears.  She has several stand out leg garters.  She measured 22 1/2" at 2 days old (born May 16, 2008).  Her dam is a 34 1/2", light red/pink (Merry-Go-Round's Gypsy Rose,  April 2000) and her sire is a 31 1/2" spot (MDHR Carrousel Ivers).  You can see him at the bottom of our herd page.  A 25% deposit will hold her until weaning in September or you can purchase her with her dam now.  

                                                             Spirit Hill Summer's Breeze

Breeze is a really nice little yearling standing 29" at 10 months.  She was 21" at birth August 2, 2007.  She is just starting to shed off and has some roaning to her gray.  She is built well like her dam.  Her dam is listed for sale below (Little Creek's Bonnie- MSF) and her sire is a 31 1/2" spot (MDHR Carrousel Ivers).  He can be seen at the bottom of our herd page.

Bonnie is a loveable donkey and a great mama.  She is a blaze faced which means she has the masked spotting factor (MSF) and can have spotted babies.    She is pictured above with her 2007 baby jennet, Breeze.  She is 34 1/2" tall and registered as a  1996 brown/gray.  She has a nice pedigree with lots of colors.    Her sire was a 31" red/gray and her dam a 36" frosted spotted white.    She has been pastured with our new, very dark brown with blaze herd sire (see Smokin' Bandit on our herd page)  and hopefully is bred for an April/May 2009 baby.  So, you might possibly have a 2 in 1 package deal!  

                                                                  Spirit Hill Sundae Surprize

Sundae Surprize is another cute, little blaze face (MSF) which means she carries the spotting gene and could have spotted babies for you.  She was born in May 2005 and her mature height is a mere 32 1/2".  We do know that her sire was a 30" spot but we do not know about her dam.  She has been pastured with our very dark brown with blaze herd sire (you can see Smokin' Bandit on our herd page) for two months, April/May 2009,  so she is possibly a 2 in 1 package for you.
